Blood flow restriction is gaining increasing popularity these days. You might have seen some of the more prominent researchers in the field such as Jeremy Loenneke, Layne Norton, Jacob Wilson, and Peter Fitschen posting pictures on their social media with knee wraps partially cutting off circulation to their arms or legs during their workouts. But what does science say about this style of training? We’ll look at one of these studies today from Peter Fitschen’s group and then talk applications of this style of training within one’s overall split and also discuss a special product I’m prototyping for blood flow restriction training over at .
