322: Stacking Creatine and Beta-Alanine

Posted by John Bosse on

???????????????????????????????????????

Beta-alanine has been heavily researched as a performance enhancing supplement for track athletes and other high intensity athletes, but there’s much less data on resistance training gains despite strength athletes being some of the most likely to take this supplement. We grab a resistance training beta-alanine supplementation study, with a little creatine mixed in, discuss its findings and go on to discuss individual variability in response to a given training or supplementation protocol. John always reviews the full-text of every article, but you may view the free abstract by clicking here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17136944 . This podcast is proudly sponsored by John’s premium exercise equipment and apparel company Barbell 1.
